Quality Assurance Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for all necessary functions in quality control
using AOC's quality manual and quality control procedures to carry out the
company's mission to provide excellence in quality and continue it's efforts
to provide defect free products, on time deliveries, and outstanding customer
service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Area of effectiveness: All necessary functions in quality for the
given area of effectiveness and adherence to all ISO 9001:2000 procedures.
· Activity: Create and maintain all ISO 9001:2000 required documents
and procedures.
· Auditing: Perform all required QA audits on a regular basis as required
by AOC's QA system.
· Training: Train all employees in AOC's QA system on a regular basis,
keep records of the training and re-train as required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Define, implement and audit quality system in production.
· Other assignments may be given by the General Manager. AOC's policy
requires cross training in other areas. These areas can include but are not
limed to inventory control, administration, production and others.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Comprehensive analysis prior to decision-making is crucial. Erroneous decisions
will have a serious impact on the overall success of company operations and
may jeopardize business activities. Accuracy and attention to detail are requirements
for success in this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
· QA engineering or technology degree or minimum of 1 year experience
as QA engineer in a related business environment.
· Experience in QA and statistical QA in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to make rapid, effective decisions under pressure as well
as demonstrated interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving
skills with a diverse group of people.
· Excellent knowledge of applicable regulatory and Telcordia requirements
and ISO 9001:2000 standards.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
