The AOC single channel EDFA optical gain modules are specifically designed for single channel SONET/SDH and Metro system applications. The devices can be used in the networks to boost optical transmission power (booster amplifier), amplify signals for transmission over long distance (in-line amplifier), or amplify signals at the receiver end (pre-amplifier). We offer variety compact custom sizes and flexible electronic interfaces with excellent optical characteristics for OEM applications. The products are Telcordia GR-1312-CORE qualification tested.
